Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Today is mid-October. Yes. It's literally California right now. Literally California.
Great weather. Great weather. I, you know, I woke up today, you know, and I had to go to a grocery
store. Yeah. You know, I went outside. I felt like I was on a vacation. Yeah. Right. At a hotel
overseas, right? Waking up to get brunch. Right. Probably San Francisco. It felt so good. Yeah.
It felt so good. True. If I, if I was blindfolded, I would say I met San Francisco. You'd like
suddenly moved to LA or somewhere. Yeah. It felt so good. But yeah, that's true. Amazing. It's a
one of the best days in this whole, you know, years. No doubt. Yeah. No doubt. In four seasons.
I know. It's amazing. It's amazing. How is kahun though? Um, no. No? We don't have them.
Not this season? Usually not during the fall? Yeah. It's on the spring time. Okay. Gotcha.
But I have like late summer kahun show. Okay. But no, no, not this year. You were okay. Yeah. So
it's good. That's amazing. Then this is perfect. You can enjoy going outside. Yes. Oh man. That's
so good. So nice. I love the weather. Love it. You know, it's a perfect day for riding. Oh yeah.
Bicycle. Which I did. Amazing. Awesome. Sounds so great. Awesome. Yeah. So good. So good. Yeah.
You just, um, ran through the cities. Yes, I did. Uh, the river sign maybe. I did go through the
riverside. Yes. The sea sign, not mountain size maybe, but yeah. But yeah, I, you know, I crossed
the river. Yeah. Yeah. Awesome. Great. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. So good. So good. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm thinking buying, um, the good bicycle like you have. Oh, like a mountain bike or
cross bike or something like that. Yeah. Yeah. Cause right now I'm using the, uh, the share bike.
Yeah. Share bike. Yeah. It's good. You don't have to worry about parking, but you know,
it's not comfy. Yeah. Right. And you have to pay every time, which is kind of like, you know,
yeah. It's a hurdle. Yeah. Yeah. And also it's sometimes it's available, but sometimes it's not.
Right. So, you know, sometimes you get one of those weird, like wet and dirty bikes, right?
Yeah. That happens. Yeah. So if I had, you know, the bike like you have,
pretty lovely. Yeah. Yeah. I would say it was worth the deal. Yeah. It's not cheap.
Yeah. Not cheap though. How, how. The range. Yeah. Was it very expensive one?
03:05
Low to, low to as high as anything, but. Okay. But mine was like one of the lowest ones.
Oh really? Yeah. Very low. Mine was like an Oakmine or something, which is very cheap.
Oh, this is very cheap? In the world of like good bikes.
Oh, okay. Some is like, I think, I feel like when I go to, for example, like a bike shop,
I would say like the average would be like,
or maybe mine was like very, very cheap. Yeah. Like average, very entry level shit. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, that's, that's more expensive than I thought. I thought it's just around 10.
You can, you can, you can find bike. And I think it's okay. Like I buy it Oakmine. I love it.
No problem at all. So what is the difference between those? Like, well, first of all,
mine's a cross bike. Those are mountain bikes. Okay. The one that, you know, the, the, the,
our friend has, you know, that's right. So mine's more like, yeah. The handles are just straight.
Oh, okay. Okay. The more professional ones. Yeah. Like the bend it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I got some more. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. That makes you running fast. It has a slimmer tire.
Oh, okay. So yeah, I guess you can go faster without like friction against your ground.
I see. But you are more prone to like, you're more weak against dancer. If you have a thinner bike,
thinner tire. Okay. Yeah. You, you, you lose balance more. Oh, that's dangerous. If it's
riding on a town. That's right. In town, you have a lot of bumps. So I would be a little bit
scared if I was on a very thin tire. Yeah. Okay. Right. But it's very light. The body's very light.
That's right. The gear's very adjustable. So you don't get tired that much. Yeah.
I see. Yeah. But you're happy with that. Yeah. I'm very happy with the Lokomayan. Like,
maybe it's because I can say this because I don't know the world of mountain bikes, but though I,
with just the experience of the cross bike, I'm very satisfied with it. Yeah. Okay. I would buy
the same bike again. Oh, great. Yeah. Do you feel like big difference between just usual Mama
is between Mama and yours? Oh, definitely. If we need to compare to Mama Chadi, definitely very,
very different. Very different. Mama Chadi is very heavy. Yeah. Yeah. Like, uh, uphill, very
difficult. Um, but the cross bikes, it's so much lighter. Yeah. Yeah. And if you want to speed,
it speeds up a lot more than Mama Chadi's do. Right. Mama Chadi's you got like three gears,
06:02
right? Yeah. Yeah. We, the, the, um, the cross bikes is a lot more, right? Six. Yeah. More even
right. Three times eight or something. Three times eight. Yeah. Three gear on the left,
eight on the right. And three times eight. I think that's a lot of gears, right? Oh,
that's a lot. Yeah. Oh, okay. So you just find the one that really fits you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I didn't know that. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Then I'd go that, those ones like entry.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Would be like perfect for me. Yeah. I'm not gonna. Right. You're not going to
be a professional. You're not going to be one of those like tight, go out on the weekend, right?
Yeah. And like wear like helmets and wear like sunglasses. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just chilling. Yeah.
Around the city. Yeah. Yeah. I think, I think, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I'll be great.
Under this weather. This weather. Yeah. Yeah. Great. But next week it's like, the news told
me, it was like, we're looking about Niju Ichido around next week or next week. Yeah. So it's going
to get cold very fast. We should enjoy it while it lasts. That's sad. Yeah. When does the next
week start? I guess, like, I don't know, maybe like next, like next Monday or something. Next
Monday. Yeah. So we still have five, six, seven days. Yeah. That's right. Okay. I'm gonna enjoy
it. You should. Yeah. You should. It's going to go away. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Thanks for
sitting guys. Thank you. Bye-bye.
