Hello.
All right, that one for today.

アトランタの雪と休校
今、高校生の子供がアトランタにホームステイに行っています。
Okay.
It's dangerous to drive.
So, yeah, no school.
Okay.
Is it like good things to you?
Oh, that's super exciting.
It is always exciting to have no school.
Okay, okay.
Very, very exciting.
Yeah, that's like the first thing kids think of when snow comes.
When we're not gonna have school.
Okay, okay.
Yeah.
Can you go outside still?
Yeah, definitely, you can.
Definitely.
But you would not drive to go to Walmart or something.
That's kind of dangerous.
You'd have to really be careful and have tires that are adaptable.
So you can just go around, walk around?
Yeah, I mean, no one really walks around the neighborhood.
Oh, so you just go out to the garden and just play?
Yeah, like if you were to play, it would just be your lawn.
Okay, okay.
Yeah.
Or your backyard.
Yeah.
Yeah, just making snowballs and shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is that what you do?
Yeah, I mean, yeah.
You'd make snowballs.
Yeah, snowman.
Yeah, snowman.
Do the snow angel.
Snow angel?
What is that?
You guys don't do the snow angel?
What's that?
You would lay flat.
And then you would sort of wiggle your arm.
I see.
You'd have a shape of a snow angel.
I see, I see.
Yeah.
Is that how you call?
Yeah.
Snow angel.
Yeah, snow angel.
When you're really a kid, you'd do that.
I see.
Yeah, it was always exciting.
Okay.
So if it snows like that, like heavily like that, is not only schools, but like, for example,
like companies closed?
Or is everybody in your family like stayed inside?
I don't think the companies close.
Okay.
Yeah, I don't think so.
So they still have to go to the office or like?
I don't think, I don't remember my parents saying that their job is like, yes, me.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think it's just school.
So kids only.
Kids only.
Okay.
That's right.
Okay.
Yeah.
アメリカと日本の違い
That doesn't happen in Japan, right?
If you have heavy snow, it'll be like, oh, zaitaku de, but like, you wouldn't have a day
off though, right?
True.
We have influenza.
Oh.
Like kind of close the school or close the class.
Sometimes that happens.
Right.
Right.
But it's rare.
I feel like snows heavily or I don't know, too windy or whatever.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or we have like taifu.
Yeah.
And then sometimes.
That.
Yeah.
No school for that.
Yeah.
I guess that's the same vibe.
I remember.
How about like o-ame keihou?
Did that affect your school?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or to bukatsu maybe or.
Yes, bukatsu.
I mean, I was so excited to get that.
Like, I remember if it was like, nanji made ni o-ame keihou ga dereba, bukatsu nakunaru
toka.
Nanji made ni o-ame keihou ga dereba, sangen made toka.
I was so excited.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I remember that.
Yeah.
The happiest guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Asa no nanji made ni keihou ga dete tara, then you got a renraku mo.
And then just you got a phone call from, you know.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think I remember that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tashikani.
Natsukashii ne.
Yeah.
I remember that.
Yeah.
Then the worst thing was like in between those two.
Yes.
And then they said, no problem.
That's the worst.
That's the worst.
It's raining, wind heavy, but still I have to go to school.
Because they didn't give out the keihou.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the worst.
That's the worst.
I hate that.
I hate that feeling.
I hate it.
Because we were expecting like, oh, today's going to be the day off.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then just bam.
Right.
And then you were kind of like, you weren't getting ready for it because you were getting
ready to slack off today.
Yes.
But you got to go to school.
Yeah.
Terrible feeling.
Terrible.
Terrible feeling.
Oh, man.
I would hate that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man.
クラブ活動の思い出
Would you do the clubs again if you had the chance to?
Would you join a club like the school club?
Yeah.
Yeah.
The bukatsu?
Yeah.
You would do the bukatsu again?
Definitely.
Yes.
I love it.
It's like the main thing to me.
So.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Football.
Yes.
Or maybe, I don't know.
Maybe try a different sport.
Maybe basketball.
Okay.
Or, I don't know.
Maybe the band sakuru, maybe.
Ah, because you're into music.
Yeah.
Yeah.
True.
But, yeah.
Yeah.
I would hate to.
I would definitely hate to do that.
No.
Any circle?
Any bukatsu?
Not any circle.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No circle.
No circle.
Okay.
What would you choose if you were.
If I had to do it again?
Yeah.
You were the first grade of junior high.
Okay.
Middle school.
Okay.
I would.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Come to the football club.
I would never go to the football club.
That's like one of the first ones I crossed out.
I would never join the football club.
Don't join to the baseball club.
Why?
I don't know.
No.
No.
No.
No.
But I would.
Come to the soccer.
No.
Football club.
No.
I mean, I would not join the baseball just as much though.
Just as much.
Okay.
Baseball is one of the first ones that are like, nope.
Goes out the window quick.
First of all, you got to be bold.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Not bold, but like, you know.
Yeah.
You have to.
Bold.
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Recently though.
Oh, yeah.
They are.
They could.
They could change.
I don't.
Yeah.
That's.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I get it.
But still, I think the majority.
Is.
Yeah.
You got to, you know.
Yeah.
You got to get a shave.
So, no.
No for baseball.
Okay.
Soccer.
What's so good about soccer?
サッカー部とクッキング部の選択
Like, what would be your selling point for anyone who's like, haven't decided?
So, soccer, football is by far the biggest sport in the world.
Oh, okay.
Like, Jinko.
Jinko.
And like, you have World Cup.
Yeah.
That's the biggest sport event.
Well, that's true.
Yeah.
In the world.
That's true.
Yeah.
So, it's really, you can open for any countries, any continent where you can make friends easily.
True.
You can.
True.
The world is simply big.
Okay.
So.
Okay.
So, that's one.
Yeah.
I see.
And just the sport itself is really good.
Good?
Yeah.
So, it's fun to play.
Yeah.
Fun to play.
You got people around the world playing soccer.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's it.
You can have, for example, like, cute managers, maybe.
Cute managers?
Well, that's, you know, that's high school.
Yeah.
High school drama.
Yeah.
Sure.
Sure.
You'd have some romance there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh.
Whatever.
I don't know.
I don't know.
So, no more.
Yeah.
I mean, honestly, I've never thought deeply about that.
Okay.
Okay.
I see.
I see.
I choose the cooking club.
Yeah.
I would choose the cooking club.
I'm sorry.
Okay.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Go for that.
That is, soccer clubs are just too physically demanding.
Yes.
They make you run.
They make you train.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They make you run.
They make you train.
Yeah.
That's true.
They'll yell at you.
Yes.
Well, I don't like that.
I'm not going to go through that.
I'm going to join the cooking club.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's a good choice.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good choice.
I mean, cooking clubs weren't very popular in my school.
Oh.
Did you guys have it?
No.
You guys didn't have it?
I think we don't have.
Oh.
We didn't have cooking clubs.
I see.
All right.
I believe so.
Yeah.
I mean, I was in the cooking club when no guys were in the club.
So, I mean, so that's that.
クッキングの楽しさ
But I feel like activity-wise, well, I mean, that was so fun.
Yeah.
Like, I like learning to cook.
Like, I would love to learn how to like fucking fenang bi.
So, that would be fun.
I think it's a skill set that really lives deeply in your life.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going to join the cooking club.
Yeah.
Thanks for listening, guys.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
