Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast. Hello.Hey guys. Hello. How's it going? How's it going?
Good, good, good, good. All right. Our studio justwent through a huge trouble of, um, when we came
to the studio, the breaker was out. Yes. And thenthere was this one single breaker that if it's on,
the ローデン would, um, right? Yeah. Right. The ローデンwould like be like, hey, it's ローデン,
we can't turn it on. We had to go through like, what the hell's the problem? Yeah. Which cut-in is
it ローデン? Right. Right. It was a whole hassle.Yeah, it was. But it was pretty interesting to me.
It was very interesting. Yeah. It was first timefor me to experience like these kind of things.
Like, yeah. The actual, like. Right. We got tolook inside the, like, the hub. I didn't even know
there's like electricity shit right up above.Yeah. And I was like, I didn't know that.
That's like, you can open it and you can seeinside. I was like, oh, you can put stuff here.
Right. You can actually. Yeah. I'm sure you're notsupposed to. I'm sure the house rule doesn't
allow it to, but there are, there are spaces.Yeah. It's like a, it's like a hidden room.
Right. Yeah. Right. Right. And, uh, Kyutoki.Right. We'd looked at the Kyutoki.
If that's like ローデン. Yeah. Sounds interesting.Yeah. Interesting. Interesting.
I think it's due to the heavy rain that we had,uh, yesterday, like last night. Right. Huge rain.
Yeah. I think that's because of that. Yeah.Probably. Right. Probably. Yeah.
But we're back now. Yeah. Kyutoki still haven'tbeen fixed, but
other than that, we're good. Right. We're good.Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So how are you, man?
We just got back from a Korean trip. Uh, you good?I'm good. You're good. That's good. Um,
um, you know, um, we did, um, one week of Koreanfood video. Yes. And after that video,
I was kind of very, I have to say, I don't know, tired, um, after that week. Okay. Because of
the heavy oil, heavy spiciness, heavy saltinessand everything. Sure. And my stomach was very
punched down kind of. Yeah. Um, but this time I'mfine. I'm good. Well, maybe it's just because
two days. Right. Um, but yeah, I'm fine. I'm good.I'm doing good. Healthy. Um, yeah. Yeah. How are
you? I was actually this morning. I was like, Iwas, I've never been that tired before. Oh,really?
Yeah. I woke up and I was like, shit, my body'sexhausted. Oh, I've never. Yeah. Because like,
remember yesterday it was like, it was pretty lateat night. I was supposed to be on a bus
right. Heading to my nearest hub station, terminalstation, but like that was sold out. Yeah. I had
to use this train, like several transfers. Yeah. The heavy rain. Yeah. Right. Plus the places I
went during Korea, second day, we were kind offree. Right. Yeah. Um, it was, uh, I went to this
called the Kaihomura. Okay. Oh yeah. Right. Whichis, which is gross. Awesome. Nice. Nice. Great.
I searched that place soon, but I didn't visit, but yeah, it was great. But it's like uphill.
Oh, I see. It was a legit climb. Okay. A legitclimb. I thought about leaving my, my bag in like
a locker room, but I didn't. I carried my wholestuff with me. I didn't expect it to be this
whole journey, but like of like uphill, but like, yeah, it turns out it was. Wow. And right. So
right. All the uphilling and then like downhillingand then like the flight and then like the rain
and then the transfer and then come back at, backto your house at midnight. Right. And I was like,
shit, I'm getting old.
I've never been this tired. Okay. Yeah. Good.Yeah.
Aging. God damn. No, I mean, it's, it's prettylike a decent, it's natural that you had, um,
you know, like on the first day we did proper job, proper, I don't know. Um, you know, we did
we bought things, we walked around and we sat say, and, uh, we went to the police after that.
Yes. Yes. That was extra, extra hustle. That wasextraordinary experience. Yeah. So on the first
day too, it was a bit like a, not late, latenight, but it was around, I guess seven, eight
in night. Right. Right. So it was pretty late. Andthen next morning, next day you, you,
you climb mountain and that's right. And thenafter they had rain and traffics and everything,
yeah, it's pretty natural. I guess. Yeah. Yeah.Yeah. And also like fly go flight back
trip itself is a, is a, you know, tiring a bit.Right. And yeah. So I guess, I guess
I guess it's, you know, a lot of people. Yeah.Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. But yeah, I searched,
um, um, the Kaiho Mura and I saw some pictures andsome places that I, that looked interesting
to me after a while I couldn't visit any of thoseplaces, but yeah. How was it? It was good.
It was the atmosphere was great. Nice. It. So yougo into this street,
this area, which leads to a certain area outsidethat area. It's, it's like a normal, you know,
Oh shot a neighborhood. Like once you step intothis, this area, it's like, it's packed with
these, like, it's like a golden guy, you know, kind of like a golden guy. I see, you know,
outside of golden guy, it's like, yeah. Right. Butinside it's like packed with all these like
restaurants, but it's much more spacious and muchmore, I guess, modern looking. Um,
but it's kind of like that. You just kind of stepinto this different atmosphere. Nice. Right.
Suddenly. And, and yeah, it's a, it's a delightfulsurprise. Oh, very nice. Yeah.
Is it like designed place or? I have no idea. Ihave no idea. Okay. Yeah. I, I don't know. Okay.
Okay. Like historically it said that Kaiho Murawas like, the immigrants came here from North
Korea. And then like, I guess I think I may bewrong, but people kind of escaped to that town.
And then the escapees sort of, you know, um,cultivated its culture and then led to the town.
Oh, okay. How it was described on Google. Good.Good. I see. So it's a bit different from usual
Korea, Korea atmosphere. Yeah. Definitelydifferent from like Myeong-dong.
Gangnam. Is it like more traditional? It wasn'ttraditional. Okay. I don't know how to describe
it. It adds, it had like a, it did have a moderntwist to it. Okay. Which made it look very
oshare. It wasn't like one of those like classicold style Korean neighborhoods. I don't think it
was like that. Yeah. Wow. Right. Right. Very nice.A lot of young people were there. Not many
Japanese. Good. Yeah. Many Koreans, young Koreanswere there. Very nice. Yeah. It was nice.
Oh, lovely, lovely visiting day. So you spentwhole day in the Kaiho Mura?
Not really. I wanted to spend more, but I only wasthere for like two hours. Yeah. Before I went
to palace, the Gyeongbokgung. Gyeongbokgung. Yeah.Gyeongbokgung palace. Right. And then there's like
a river. Oh, Hangang river? Not the Hangang river, but like a much smaller, much like chill river.
Nice. That's a little bit South. Okay. Okay. Yeah. It's walkable. I walked there. I also went to
Sonsu. Yeah. To, you know, eat. Yeah. Cafe. Nice.Nice. Nice. Yeah. I did a lot of things. Good.
Yeah. I also went to Chaji. Chaji is a verypopular tea brand. Okay. From China. I went to
