おめでたいですな!!

00:00
Welcome to Kevin's English Room Podcast.
Hi.
I like your hair today.
Oh, thank you.
Yeah.
Yeah, thank you.
It looks really sexy.
Thank you.
Small, right?
Oh yeah, that's true.
That's true.
Yeah, my head is small.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I knew that.
Yeah.
I knew that your head was small.
I'm talking about your hair, man.
My hair?
Yeah.
Yeah, thank you.
How'd you do it?
No, I just, nothing.
Nothing?
Yeah.
It just, that's how it was?
Yeah.
Damn.
So random.
But I just had a haircut.
Oh, okay.
So that's why.
Oh, you did?
Congratulations.
I didn't notice that.
Yeah, that's why maybe.
Yeah.
But anyways.
Are you okay?
Yeah, sorry.
I always.
Does it hurt?
No, no, no, no.
I'm okay.
I, so the reason why I had a haircut is I went, I mean, I was invited to the wedding party.
Oh, first wedding?
My first wedding party ever.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Wow.
That was my first experience.
You already attended?
I did.
Alrighty.
It was two days ago.
Okay, okay.
Yes, two days ago.
So how was it?
Brilliant.
Really?
I really loved, I really loved wedding.
That is, that's very sweet.
Yeah.
That's, that's good.
That's good.
I mean, did you cry?
I did.
Oh, I did cried.
You know, I've heard some stories from you, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wedding.
Yeah.
And also like from like other like social rumors about weddings, right?
Yeah.
It's too like hard.
It's not fun.
So many rules.
Yes.
It's really strict.
Yeah.
And you need to pay.
Right.
And French costar are boring.
Right, right.
So, um, my kind of image towards Kekkon Shiki wasn't that super great.
Okay.
You know, could be, oh, yeah, this is okay.
This is Kekkon Shiki.
I'm excited.
I invited and but and this is my first experience of wedding party.
So, but um, yeah, I know this is going to be a bit boring and tough moment.
I know.
But no, that was so fun.
Loved every minute.
Yeah.
Really enjoy that wedding party.
Yeah.
Yeah.
03:00
That was great.
So, um, um, so it was a a capoeira soccer in the call high.
Okay.
Wedding.
So we, I was invited as an one of the performers kind of we sang in a, um, I think I know who
you're talking about.
Oh, yeah.
So, um, so the party was at Kyosuki and then Hiroen.
So we did one song and one song.
Okay.
And I did this, the last song together with five members.
And then, um, yeah, so we stayed together the day before at some place, some Ikenya.
Oh, really?
We went to a place.
Oh, it was not in, it was in Tokyo?
It was in Hakone.
Oh, I see.
Yeah.
So we went together and stayed in one, um, Airbnb, one place and kind of had a gashiku
a bit.
Uh, that's fun.
Yeah.
And then talk, not card games.
Fucking, fucking card games.
We didn't play card games.
We just talked.
Oh, you guys didn't play card games.
No, we didn't play card games.
We just talked, drink, uh, tea, coffee and had a cake and yeah, those.
So you must like that.
Yeah, that's good.
That's good.
I like that.
And yeah, so that was fun.
First of all.
Okay.
That was good.
That, that, that has to be fun.
Yeah.
It was like, um, gashiku.
Right.
It's, it brings back memories.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You guys do.
Yeah.
So it was fun.
And, um, yeah, from the next day, that was a wedding party and Kyoshiki was the first
part.
Yes.
And you know, that was, um, Jinzen Shiki.
Jinzen Shiki.
Yeah.
So, so, um, Japanese style?
Um, no, it was, um, a Western style.
Okay.
But, um, they don't promise the love to God.
Okay.
But for people, for attendees.
Oh.
So there were no shimpu-san saying like, "Oh, what an anano."
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Not that guy.
Okay.
So they don't promise to that guy.
They promise to us.
I see.
To all the attendees.
I see.
Yeah.
So, um, that was it.
And the moment the shindou-san was entered to the room.
Okay.
Do you know him?
Right?
Yeah, I know him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he was always like easygoing and, uh, yeah, he was a chill, calming guy.
Yeah.
And he was so nervous.
And he was like, "Ahh!"
Yeah.
And as we saw him being such a nervous, we were like, "Ohh!"
That was touching moment.
That was your first wave of tears.
Yeah.
Oh, and some girls like start crying.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow.
That was, uh, yeah, quite an atmosphere.
Uh-huh.
06:00
And then, um, shimpu-san entered.
Okay.
And that was beautiful.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Was she nervous?
Yeah, of course.
Okay.
But she was smiling and she was beautiful, quite beautiful.
She was more calm.
Yeah.
Than the guy.
Shindo was really nervous.
He was like, "That's cute."
Yeah.
That's kind of cute.
Yeah.
And then after that, um, that was zinzen-shiki.
Uh-huh.
So, you know, there were no shimpu-san saying things, but it's their promise to us.
Okay.
So two of our friends.
Okay.
Um, there are four rules of them.
Okay.
Um, one was like, um, um, "tsukini ikkai wa issho ni o dekake shimasu."
Oh!
Those, those kind of cute promises.
Okay.
"Mainichi issho ni oishii gohan wo tabemasu."
Uh-huh.
And there were four rules like that.
Okay.
And two friends, um, came.
Okay.
And then two rules, they read two rules and they will be like, "oishii gohan wo taberu
koto wo chikaimasu."
Uh-huh.
You know, that kind of things.
I see.
Yeah.
So, so, um, yeah.
And one of the, and friend.
Okay.
Was, you know, the big, big kohai.
Yes, I know.
I think, uh, great singing, great vocal.
Great vocal, but huge guy.
Yeah, I know.
Sometimes you can't reach him.
Yeah.
He disappears.
Yeah, I know, I know, I know.
He has been disappeared.
Okay.
And one day, wow, wearing tight jackets and he couldn't, he couldn't even stop the button.
But he was like, he was like this and came on the stage and "oishii gohan wo taberu koto
wo chikaimasu ka?"
And they were like, you know, smiling so, you know, right.
Right.
And "taberu koto wo chikaimasu."
And, um, yeah.
So atmosphere was quite like friendly.
Very, yeah.
Yeah, gentle.
Yeah.
And we were kind of, um, laughing sometimes.
Yeah.
Y'all had different people from other communities, other, um.
Yeah, of course, like, uh, Shindou no, um, for example, like, daigaku no kenkyuu student
friends or like, koukou friends.
So it wasn't just the certain school, right?
No, no, no.
Many.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah.
And then went on Hiroen.
Yeah.
And one of the Sakuru kouhai wearing glasses.
Yes.
And then, but not Hige-one.
And the same age as Shindou-san.
Ah, okay, yeah.
I know, I know.
Yeah, yeah.
He gave a speech that was quite emotional.
Uh-huh.
And we all cried.
Really?
Yeah.
He gave an emotional speech?
Yeah, that was quite emotional.
That was a great speech.
Oh, okay.
And we, yeah, we enjoyed French calls.
Mm-hmm.
But, you know, I was supposed to sing at the very last of the party.
09:02
Okay.
So I was kind of always nervous.
Right, right, right, right.
So it wasn't that.
Your role wasn't done yet.
It wasn't that enjoy fully.
Okay.
But, you know, everybody was eating and drinking.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Right.
As if it was like a izakaya.
Oh, really?
It was quite authentic, very expensive place.
But, you know, the atmosphere was quite frank.
Uh-huh.
And we all like enjoy.
I see.
Friendly.
Yeah.
And we sang.
And yeah, so.
Uh-huh.
Great wedding.
Yeah.
Nice.
Yeah.
Nice, nice.
So I really, really enjoy that.
And, you know, I guess all those rumors that you hear are, many of them might be from like
a wedding party of your joshi or like a wedding party from someone who you're not that like
close with.
That's true.
It might be you might be attending that party for, I don't know, some business reasons.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the case.
Then you could imagine it being a very, you know, kind of like a, you know.
Sure.
Could be some business atmosphere.
Right.
And yeah.
Yeah.
Sure.
Right.
Sure.
If it's a friend friend, right.
Then it's a fun.
Yeah.
Atmosphere.
Right.
It's a very cool wedding.
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
That's why.
Yeah.
So that must feel really friendly, filled with, you know, so many loves.
Nothing.
Zero negative feelings.
Right.
You know, in the house.
Right.
Yeah.
Just for the antenna.
So moving, touching.
Right.
Yeah.
Not, not much of a, you don't get to see those kinds of atmospheres.
Often, right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Day to day like that.
100% positivity atmosphere.
Right.
100% love in the room.
Yeah.
It's kind of, it's kind of hard to find.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a special day.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're right.
Yeah.
So my first wedding in my life.
Super, super fun.
Great experience.
Great experience.
Lovely.
Yeah.
That's good.
That's good to hear.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But the day before I was like, wait, what is fukusa?
Wait.
Right.
Yeah.
You asked me, right?
Right, right.
Fuku-sa iru to mou?
Yeah.
But I have no experience.
So.
Right.
Yeah.
You bought it?
I bought it.
I bought it.
Did you buy it?
No.
Well, I mean, I guess it's okay.
Like, yeah.
Really, really needed.
Yeah.
I guess I brought fukusa and furoshiki.
Okay.
So I, you know.
Did you borrow it?
Yeah, I borrowed fukusa.
Did everyone had a fukusa?
12:03
Yeah.
Yeah.
I guess it's necessary.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I thought it was an atmosphere where people didn't really care.
Like.
Yeah, friends and.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But okay.
Yeah.
I guess it's a yeah.
Better safe than sorry.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
So congratulations on attending your.
Yes.
