Welcome to another episode of Kevin's in this room podcast!
Yes!
Hey!
Like we've got this atmosphere, like really like try nothing but just chatting.
Yeah?
It's kind of been a while, you know?
Oh yeah.
Like talking about nothing, eating something.
Yeah?
I like it actually.
Okay, me too. I like it too.
That's all.
Alright.
We have been doing it for quite a while.
Oh yeah, but you know, we've been like trying to make it fun, you know?
Well that's something we have to do but...
Oh yeah.
You know?
But you know, remember at the very beginning we didn't like try at all.
Like we were just eating our dinner.
Right.
You know, a place and just...
That's how it started, right?
Yeah.
Like a really casual kind of nothing kind of podcast?
Yeah.
That's how it started off, right?
Just, you know, just like we talk.
Yeah.
Every day.
Exactly.
So I kind of feel that vibe.
Which is great.
Yeah, which is great.
Right, right, right.
Yeah.
But at the same time I think that we have to make it fun.
Of course.
And make it interesting, of course.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, I think, you know, I've been asking a lot of people about, you know,
what we should do with the podcast.
Like as a listener, like is there anything that you want, like any like element or essence
or like things that you want us to do in the podcast that would make it more interesting?
I've been asking a lot of that question and a lot of people have been like, I'm sure they're
being very humble and very, you know, kind.
But like, yeah, right now is like great.
Like right now what you guys are doing is just, yeah, I don't think I can think of anything
to make it better.
That's what they've been telling us.
So like, I think we're doing it.
Yeah.
That's good.
Yeah.
Okay.
Like I'm feeling like, you know, this is some, this is a place that I can be like, you know,
like, I mean, try nothing, but just like, like not trying to be Yamachan.
Like, I don't know if you feel it too, but I feel like, you know, try nothing, but try
not be like cool.
You know, you know, that's right.
Right.
Right.
Right.
Right.
You know what I mean?
I understand.
I understand.
That makes me like a little bit of a different character.
Yeah.
That would be different, like a little bit more like open and be honest.
03:01
I understand.
Yeah.
That happens to you too.
So when I was in front of the camera and making a video, YouTube videos, sometimes I feel
like I'm pretending to be a, you know, character, you know, cool and intelligent and, you know,
anyways, those, you know, the Yamachan kind of, you know, character.
Well, I think you too, but, you know, this is something that I don't, I don't try nothing
and just, just talk to you.
So it's kind of, it's kind of a good time to me actually speaking English, just as I
am, you know.
Well, I'm glad you said that.
You know, I understand the fact, I understand when, when you were like, like when we were
on camera, when we were in front of the camera, I feel like all of our actions and all of
our words are building up, has to build up to this content creation kind of, you know,
aspect.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, yeah.
Whereas right now I just feel like it's more like, I feel like we should talking to you,
you know, just the main content, just the main goal is to talk to you and have a conversation.
Whereas in the video, just be like the main goal would be to build up to this like creative
content kind of goal.
Right.
Right.
And I'm sure that like the audio only thing has a, some sort of a role in that mentality
too.
Like, you know how like celebrities have their own radio shows and they are more open on
that radio show versus when they're on television.
I think it's like a similar kind of experience there.
I think.
True.
That's what I felt.
Right.
Well, let me talk about, you know, as I told you that English makes me a little hesitate
less.
Okay.
You know, it's a little, makes me more open and honest.
If it was in Japan, in Japanese, I would never say this.
It's really hard to say this, but you know, we had a kind of discussion like one week
ago or like several days ago, you know, do you remember?
Yeah.
With Kake-chan and Kevin and me all together.
It was before taking a video.
06:00
Oh yeah.
You remember that?
Yeah.
We had a discussion kind of meeting and discussion.
Right.
Yeah.
About, about the, what we, you know, about our roles.
Our roles.
Right.
How to show that.
Right.
That was kind of, for me, that was really important.
And that was a really good discussion.
And I thought, and I felt that you are kind of a guy with so many, like so much amount
of brave.
Really?
That's what I found actually.
Really?
Like you are, you were going to cut into the kind of difficult topic.
I mean sensitive thing.
Oh yeah.
And, you know, we tend to, to not touching that.
Right.
Avoid those, cutting into that, the tackling into that, the core thing.
But you were like, like brave enough to.
Wow.
Cutting into that topic was quite, you know, like honest, you know, statement.
That was kind of, I was like, oh, that's great as attitude, you know, to do some thing.
Right.
Well, I'm glad you, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, thanks for that.
Yeah.
That's what I thought actually.
I didn't say that, but.
Well, yeah.
You don't have to.
Yeah.
For the audience that's listening, what we're talking about is we had like a real, like
a real conversation, not like a, yeah, like a, what do you want to do next as a content
kind of conversation, but like, like our like, like relationship content, like, you
know, like how are we going to like communicate with each other and like, like, like, is there
anything that we haven't been communicating that that's holding it in inside of us and
like we need to let it out if that's been a stress point to you and then like, yeah,
we had that really like serious, tough kind of conversation, right?
Yeah.
Right.
That's what Yamachan is talking about.
And, yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like it's really like you, like that's your style that you not afraid to getting
into that conversation.
Conversation.
Conversation and the core thing like directly.
Yeah.
Without any, you know, fancy talking, you know, explanation, but just, it was quite
simple and nice to me.
09:03
I liked it.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, oh.
Well, this is a nine minute timer, right?
Yeah, so we have to finish it.
Okay.
Going to be like 50 seconds.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
I do feel like, you know, relationship is, I think I myself, it's weird that I'm saying
this, but like I myself feel like, like building, like deep, deepening relationship is like
EQs, like, you know what EQ are?
Like topics like EQ or like building relationships or like, like talking it out kind of is kind
of my strength.
Really like I, I, I'm, I'm fairly comfortable talking about them.
Like I do need energy to, I do need to be like extra careful.
Right.
But like I, I feel like it is a strength of mine.
So yeah.
So, and I do think that's important too.
You know, like that's the reason why I had, I quit my job, you know, it's really kind
of like because of, I wanted to work with the people who I wanted to work with was the
reason why I quit my job.
So having that conversation was really necessary, you know, like I, we don't want that seed
of like, like seed of deterioration, like seed of like seed that might lead to ending
this activity for like, we, we needed to pick that out.
I felt like so.
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
Well, I'm glad you liked the conversation.
Oh yeah.
We should have more if, you know, if it's necessary.
Yeah.
I don't want to have those guys.
But I do feel so that's a real important to.
Right.
Speak ourselves.
Right, right, right.
Yeah.
That was a good discussion.
Yeah.
Good to know.
Good to know.
Good to know.
All right.
Thanks for listening guys.
Bye bye.
Bye bye.
Bye.
